Hello, my name is Ankur Verma, and I assist students in making objective decisions regarding their stream and career choices based on their interests, aptitudes, orientations, personalities, and emotional quotients.
Let me introduce myself. I have over 15 years of diverse experience - I have worked with large multinationals, been an entrepreneur, and worked with a VC. From an educational perspective, I specialize in Electronics and Communication Engineering from APS College, Bangalore, hold an MBA specialising in Finance from The George Washington University, US, and an Executive Program in Sales and Marketing from IIMC.
If I look back and analyze my decision-making process regarding why I chose Science and Engineering, I need a more convincing answer. I chose Science because most of my friends were doing so, and I chose Engineering because my cousins were engineers. I had no idea about my other options after choosing Science with PCM. It took some time for me to figure out my calling and what I would excel in.
I wish someone had objectively helped me identify my interests, aptitudes, orientations, and emotional quotient during my formative years and guided me in choosing a career path.
From my experience, most of Gen-Z is going through similar confusion. With the numerous new-age career options growing daily, I would like to assist and guide young students in making more informed decisions.
